fu costruito per la prima volta nella primavera del 1935 e rimane il pi\u00f9 antico stabilimento balneare della costa catanese, nonch\u00e9 uno dei pi\u00f9 antichi della Sicilia.  \n\nAd eccezione di una sola estate durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, questo iconico beach club in Sicilia ha offerto ai residenti di Catania e ai visitatori di tutto il mondo un accesso esclusivo alla spiaggia della Playa di Catania per oltre 80 anni, offrendo un'esperienza balneare unica e di lunga tradizione.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6f93b43 elementor-size-default\">Le prime \"cabine\" del Lido Azzurro, storico stabilimento balneare di Catania sulla Playa di Catania, hanno sostituito i piccoli bungalow privati che un tempo sorgevano sugli arenili nella prima parte del secolo scorso. \n\nNel corso degli anni, intere generazioni sono cresciute tra le lunghe file di grandi cabine blu e rosse, che sono diventate un simbolo iconico di questo rinomato beach club in Sicilia fino alla fine del secolo. Nel 1954, l'edificio centrale fu sopraelevato e ampliato e oggi ospita i servizi di reception e di ristorazione, uno dei punti di riferimento storici di Viale Kennedy a Catania.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e3c317b elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"e3c317b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Nel 2001, il Lido Azzurro, uno dei principali stabilimenti balneari di Catania sulla Playa di Catania, ha subito una trasformazione completa insieme ad altri stabilimenti della Playa, seguendo nuovi standard ambientali e di servizio.  \n\nLe cabine tradizionali sono state conservate, ora riprogettate con dimensioni aggiornate e installate su strutture in legno rimovibili per rispettare l'ambiente naturale della spiaggia. Ampie aree sono dedicate agli sport da spiaggia, alle famiglie e ai visitatori giornalieri, con servizi e strutture distribuite in modo efficiente sui 57.000 metri quadrati di questo moderno
