Lido Azzurro, a historic beach club in Catania located on the Playa di Catania, was first built in the spring of 1935 and remains the oldest beach resort on the Catania coast, as well as one of the oldest in Sicily. In 2001, Lido Azzurro, a leading beach club in Catania on the Playa di Catania, underwent a complete transformation along with other establishments on the Playa, following new environmental and service standards. The traditional cabins have been preserved, now redesigned with updated dimensions and installed on removable wooden structures to respect the natural beach environment. Large areas are dedicated to beach sports, families, and daily visitors, with services and facilities efficiently distributed across the 70,000 square meters of this modern beach club in Sicily.
Today the Lido Azzurro is part of summer memories of thousands of Sicilians and a tradition that still today is an integral part of many families of our city.
